Mobile pedestals - storage space at the desk
Every desk should have sufficient storage space on or in the desk. This means that you always have all the utensils you need to hand and can stow them away just as quickly.
Traditional desks and secretaries often have a desk base with a door and drawer. A modern height-adjustable desk never has integrated storage space, but is the best choice ergonomically. For this reason, the office pedestal is probably the most popular piece of furniture under or next to any desk today.
Roll container or pedestal?
There are many different terms that are used quite synonymously, but describe different functions in detail. The mobile pedestal or office mobile pedestal has castors. This makes it slightly higher than the same pedestal that stands on legs.
A pedestal can combine different storage functions. The drawer pedestal is used most frequently, or the combination of drawer and pull-out for hanging files. Less commonly, the mobile pedestal desk has an open compartment or a door. Optional accessories such as a pen tray and inclined shelf make using the drawers even more efficient.

Is the Flexcube mobile pedestal comparable to a USM mobile pedestal?
Both modular furniture systems stand for premium standards and are visually comparable. Both are metal mobile pedestals with stainless steel rods. However, they differ, for example, in the way the individual parts are assembled, in the dimensions (sizes and depths), colors and accessories. Flexcube and USM Haller mobile pedestals can be placed together in one room. However, the individual parts cannot be combined in a single piece of furniture.
